The club is also involved in numerous activities where we might not be the "lead" organization, but where we really make our presence known. Examples of this would include the Boy and Girls Club Road race in May every year, where we cook and feed over 300 people. We also assist at the Horn Pond Cleanup day, where we not only feed the masses, but we assist in the cleanup. One of our members is on the Boston Renegades, a team who plays Beepball (Softball for people who are sight impaired). We hosted the "Beast of the East" tournament last year where teams from the east coast gathered in Woburn to settle the question of who is the best. This past spring we got involved, along with some of the other local Lions Clubs, to help the Peterson School with their major fundraiser, helping to raise many thousands of dollars! The pictures rotating above were taken at some of these functions.
