Halloween Parade BAND Application

All bands or paid groups must submit an application by clicking on the button below. As a charity group ourselves our parade budget is limited. All paid groups are on a first come basis as once we exhaust our funds each year we must turn groups away. We strongly suggest that you submit your application early keeping in mind that this is a charity event so price your group accordingly. We do choose paid groups that are interesting, crowd pleasing and reasonably priced providing us the most bang for the buck as they say. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you should have any questions or concerns.

Parade Regulations

1. The following activities will not be tolerated:

a) Protesting - depicting criticism towards any governmental entity or person or toward any person's heritage or heritages, or ethnicities will not be tolerated.

b) Political Protests - any political protests against any branch of our government, including, but not limited to, our armed forces, our city or state, our country, and/or the President of The United States will not be tolerated.

c) Improper Language - the use of vulgar language is not allowed in this parade at any time. It is not to be spoken or written on any banners or signs during the procession of the parade, regardless of language or interpretation.

d) Improper Attire - although the wearing of appropriate costumes is encouraged, nudity of any kind will not be tolerated. Any violations will lead to the immediate ejection from the parade and a ban from future parades.

2. The WHLC Parade Committee has the full and exclusive authority to interpret, determine compliance with, and take any action to enforce the parade standards and regulations. Participating organizations agree to abide by and cooperate with any decisions made by the WHLC Parade Committee in accordance with these regulations. Further, participating organizations agree not to assert any suit or claim against the WHLC and or its Parade Committee on account of any occurrence associated with the parade and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the WHLC, its Parade Committee and its individual members from and against any and all actions, claims, damages, injuries, losses or penalties arising out of, or in connection with, parade participation.
