Frank and Evelyn DiPanfilo Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Woburn Host Lions Club is proud to present the Frank and Evelyn DiPanfilo Memorial Scholarship Fund.

As a lifelong resident of Woburn, Frank DiPanfilo cherished the Woburn community and embraced the concept of public service. As a member of the Woburn Host Lions Club, he took the Lions International motto "We Serve" to heart, spending countless hours in service to his community and to Lions International eyesight charities. Frank's wife Evelyn joined Frank in all his endeavors and spent countless hours in support of the Host Lions activities.

In collaboration with the Woburn Host Lions Club, the DiPanfilo family has established a scholarship fund in memory of Frank and Evelyn and their devotion to public service.

Four $5000.00 and two $2500.00 scholarships will be awarded annually to six Woburn residents who are graduating from high school. The scholarship awards will be presented to students who are in good academic standing and have a documented history of public service to their community.

Material Requested:

• Completed scholarship application form (attached)
• Personal one-page essay about your public service and activities
• A copy of your high school transcript
• Letter of recommendation from an individual who has supervised your public service endeavors.

Applications must be received by Friday, May 3rd, 2024
